Though it will be under different circumstances, this year's Halloween costume trends are unbelievable! This year on October 31, which is on Saturday, is Halloween. Although this year it may look a little different because of COVID-19 the costume trends are spectacular. There are costumes from tv shows, to costumes trends from last year that made a bounce back. Be expected to be wowed by some of these unique and fun costumes.
One of the first very popular family costumes for this year is from the show "Tiger King". To dress like Carol Baskin all you would need, would be animal print clothing, a flower crown, and hippie earrings. To dress like Joe Exotic you would need a mullet, beard, hat, jeans, cowboy boots, and an exotic print shirt. And the kids would be dressed up as tigers, which you could easily DIY or buy. A second very popular costume this year is to dress up as characters from the movie Moana. The costumes are very simple and could easily be DIY'd. There are endless amounts of characters from being Moana to being the magical water, you could easily do this costume with a large family.
Although this costume was popular last year, it has become even more popular this year. Don't be surprised to see herds of space cowgirls on Halloween. This costume is easy to put together and perfect for group costumes. All you need for this costume is metallic clothes, any colored cowgirl hat and optional, a space alien gun. If you're looking for a more unique costume, dressing up as characters from the newly popular game, Among Us, might be the perfect fit. This costume is super easy to put together. All you need is a monochrome outfit and science safety goggles. There are 10 different colors to dress up in, so it's great for a large number of people that are in a group costume.
Considering that only a year ago the newest Toy Story movie came out, expect to see a lot of kids dressed up in Woody, Buzz, or the new addition to the toy story characters, Forky costumes. Though if you want your child to have a very realistic toy story costume you may need to buy it from a Halloween store or on Etsy, but if you're fine with the costume not being that extravagant it would be very easy to DIY. For Woody all you would need would be cowboy boots, cowboy hat and a flannel. For Buzz you would just need a t-shirt with all the buttons drawn on and a purple turtleneck. A great classic would be to dress up as a celebrity, idol or specific character from a Disney show or movie. This costume can easily be found in a Halloween store or can easily be made with a few materials.
