Halloween Movies To Watch This Month

One of the best ways to get into the Halloween spirit is to watch Halloween movies or other spooky thrillers, whether they are on mainstream TV networks, on Netflix, or premiering in theaters. 

Be sure to mark your schedules and leave room for these films! Some of the most classic Halloween movies are being shown on television all month long, and here are just a few of the movies and which channels you can watch them on: 

Hocus Pocus (1993)

If you don’t have cable or prefer Netflix, here are some of the top Halloween/scary movies you can stream on Netflix: Coraline (2009), Scream (1996), R.L. Stine’s Mostly Ghostly (2008), Goosebumps (1998), The Conjuring (2013), Insidious (2010), and more. In addition, if you’re in search for the true classic Halloween film known as Halloweentown (1998), it can be found on Amazon Prime or on DVD in stores. 

Lastly, getting the classic movie-theater-experience during the Halloween season is a great way to enjoy the newest horror films that are being played in local theaters. Some of the current spooky films you can see throughout the month include the following: The Addams Family (2019), Polaroid (2019), It Chapter Two (2019), The Dead Center (2019), and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019). What a perfect October weekend activity to enjoy with friends, family, or even for some alone-time!
