Justice for Women Claims Woman Was Falsely Convicted of Murder

Carly Buccigrossi, Senior

According to BBC news, Emma-Jayne Magson stabbed her boyfriend to death, and the Justice for Women organization is trying to claim that she is being wrongly convicted. They believe she was wrongly convicted because they are claiming her boyfriend abused her.

It all started when Emma and her boyfriend James were out drinking one night and they got in a taxi to go home. They began to fight in the taxi and it got so bad that the driver pulled over the car and kicked the two out. They continued to fight the whole way home, and then when they finally got to their house Emma grabbed a steak knife and stabbed her boyfriend.

Emma had actually had a pretty traumatic childhood, because when she was only 8 months old her father actually stabbed her mother while she was holding Emma. She became extremely rebellious as she grew up because of this experience and it put her in some sticky situations as one of Emma’s boyfriends actually beat her so bad that she had a crack in her head.
