Are you sick and tired of listening to the same music all the time? This March, several of your favorite artists will be dropping new albums. From Rich to Kid to Billie Eilish, there will be plenty of new music for you to check out this month. Here are albums coming out this March that you should definitely give a listen to.


Rap or Go to the League … 2 Chainz

Release Date: March 1st

Rap or Go to the League is 2 Chainz’s fifth studio album he has dropped. 2 Chainz wrote this album to express his thoughts about the misconception in the African-American community that as a young man your only chances of finding a career are as a musician or athlete. The album reflects on the artist’s own past, for he played basketball in high school and college before he pursued a rap career. The fourteen track album includes songs “Momma I Hit a Lick” and “Rule the World.” The album features several of your other favorite musicians such as Travis Scott, Young Thug, Kendrick Lamar, Kodak Black, Chance the Rapper, Ariana Grande, and more. Rap or Go to the League debuted #3 on U.S. iTunes Albums charts just after its release.


Baby on Baby … Da Baby

Release Date: March 1st

New and upcoming North Carolina based rap artist Da Baby released the thirteen track album Baby on Baby upon March’s arrival. The artist raps with an intense flow and confidence within his lyrics, which makes the album appealing to hip hop fans. The album includes features from Offset, Rich the Kid, and Rich Homie Quan. Although most of the album’s tracks are relatively short, each track expresses a sense of lyrical intensity with forceful beats. Baby on Baby includes tracks “Baby Sitter”, “Best Friend”, and “Walker Texas Ranger.” Overall, Da Baby demonstrated his charismatic personality throughout the album, however, this album may not be for you if you are not a rap fan.


Weezer (Black Album) … Weezer

Release Date: March 1st

Weezer, or often referred to as the Black Album, is the thirteenth studio album that has been released by the by the American alternative-rock band. The album consists of 10 tracks, including “Byzantine” and “I’m Just Being Honest.” Several of the tracks featured on the album were released earlier in the year. In fact, four of the album’s tracks premiered in the game Fortnite a day before the album’s release. The album received mixed reviews, for many felt that it did not live up to the expectations fans of the band had.

However, on March 12th, Weezer reached the 19th position on the US Billboard Top 200.


Death Race for Love … Juice WRLD

Release date: March 8th

“Lucid Dreams” rapper Juice WRLD dropped his second studio album Death Race for Love on March 8th. Upon its release, the album debuted #1 on the US Billboard Top 200. Death Race for Love became Juice WRLD’s first number one album. The 22 track compilation includes songs “Robbery,” “Maze,” and “On God” featuring Young Thug. The album overall received positive reviews from critics and sold 43,000 copies within the first 10 days of it’s release.



The World is Yours 2 … Rich the Kid

Release date: March 22nd

American rapper Rich the Kid is expected to release his second studio album The World is Yours 2 on March 22nd. The album is a sequel to his previous studio album The World is Yours. The sixteen track album will include previously released singles “Splashin” and “4 Phones.” It is expected to feature artists Big Sean, Young Thug, A Boogie, Offset, Takeoff, Gunna, Lil Pump, and more.





When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? … Billie Eilish

Release Date: March 29th

Up and coming female singer Billie Eilish will drop the fourteen track album When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? on March 29th. The track list includes, “When the Party’s Over,” “Bury a Friend,” and “My Strange Addiction.”
