Quakertown Autumn Alive Review

Callista Weaver

Quakertown Autumn Alive took place in downtown Quakertown at 312 W Broad St. on Saturday, October 20th from 10 am-4 pm. It was the town’s 19th annual festival. At the festival, there was an exciting pet parade, food court (the food included options such as hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, and drinks), entertainment (including different types of music and dance team performances), and an abundance of activities (including a multitude of crafts and contests).

While there, festival goers could walk around to different booths. Some booths gave out fun free items, while others had products for sale. Normally, the booths sell things like clothes, jewelry, and toys. The festival also featured alpacas and other animals that people could pet and feed.

This event was super fun to experience! It was interesting to see the variety of booths available to shop at. Many free items were also given away in order to promote the company or store that they advertised. Some of the things they gave out included drawstring bags, candy, and coloring books. There were also a ton of raffles available for entering. There were raffles to win free classes, outdoor equipment (sporting goods and tools) or indoor items (cleaning supplies and cooking supplies). There were also different types of bikes that were being demonstrated for use because of how unusual they look and operate. One of the bikes was a circle and had six seats. It was fun to watch the different people try to use the bikes. Overall this event was super fun to attend and I would highly recommend making an effort to go next year!
