In an attack by al-Shabaab extremists on a military base in Kenya, a U.S. soldier and two contractors were killed, authorities confirmed. During the hour-long assault on Sunday morning at Manda Bay Airfield, several U.S. aircraft and vehicles were also destroyed. On the same day, three men who were trying to force their way into a training camp in Laikipia county in the British Army were arrested by Kenyan police. These men were treated as terrorist suspects. They were killed because of the anti-terrorrism motives of the base. This is just one of the many acts of terrorrism going on, and we can only hope that these attacks can be predicted and prevented in the future.
