Avengers: Endgame Review

Jamie Hallman, Junior

The highly anticipated new movie Avengers: Endgame is the perfect conclusion to the first saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is three hours long, but it does not even feel like three hours has passed when the movie is over. The movie is riveting and keeps the audience engaged the entire time, with only one or two parts of the plot in the beginning that end up being a little slow. This movie fulfills almost every wish an avid Marvel fan could have with plenty of flashbacks to past movies, giving it a sense of nostalgia.

While it may be somewhat of a walk down memory lane, there is still enough new plot and comedy that allow the movie to grow by itself. It has a refreshing new concept that was not seen in any of the movies that came before it. The new characters work seamlessly with the original characters who are still the main focus of the movie since many of the actors contracts are finished up after this film.

Nobody could have guessed what this movie would hold and there is absolutely no way to prepare for it. It is a rollercoaster of emotions that will make you want to laugh, cry, and cheer for the heroes that appear on the screen. This movie was a great experience that provided many things that a Marvel fan can hold onto as Marvel Studios moves into a new era. While there may be disagreement over some of the quality certain aspects of the movie, it does not take away from the fact that it was action packed with lots of plot points and jokes that will keep the audience satisfied.
