What is your favorite Halloween candy? Halloween originated with a Celtic festival called Samhain, where the people dressed up in costumes and lit bonfires to prevent ghosts and demons. That night was known as Hallow’s Eve, soon to be known as Halloween. Eventually, Halloween turned into a day with festivities such as dressing up in fun costumes, parties, carving pumpkins, and trick-or-treating for candy.
Trick-or-treating is where you go around to houses in a costume and get FREE candy. Yes, you heard me right, FREE! Different houses give out all different types of candy. These are the best and worst Halloween candies according to the students of Palisades High School!
