Today, Tuesday, January 7th, is National Bobblehead day. Bobbleheads have been around for at least 150 years and are still pretty popular to this day. In China and Japan, there were these dolls similar to bobbleheads known as string dolls. Bobbleheads then originated from these popular dolls back in the day. In 1960, the first bobbleheads were made to resemble Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, and Roberto Clemente. Bobbleheads are very unique and different because a lot of celebrities or fictional characters have their own bobblehead. Purchasing bobbleheads can be kind of pricey depending on which one you are trying to boy. Old, unique, bobbleheads are the ones that are more expensive to purchase because they could go up to at least $500. Happy National Bobblehead day to all of the bobblehead lovers!📷
