Penn State vs. Ohio State is always a game to look forward to due to it being one of the most important games of the season. This game has turned into a rivalry and could be one of the best these teams have played against each other. This game can easily decide a season for both of these teams and it is crucial to beat the other team.
Coming into this game after a loss to a team that isn’t close to as good as Penn State is, definitely stirred their emotions. Penn State was hungry for a win, and they were also in desperate need for one. Starting the season, they were ranked 8th in the Nation, but after the loss, they dropped down to 18th. For Coach Franklin and his team, that is unacceptable to them. They are making adjustments to both sides of the ball and trying to make their team as great as they know they can be. Quarterback Sean Clifford, coming off a somewhat bad game, was ready to play. He had three touchdowns in total, but also threw two interceptions. People have seen how good he can be and that is not even close. If he can step up and be himself while playing in the football game, then they can have a great chance of taking down #3, Ohio State.
Ohio State, on the other hand, went into the game off of a great win against Nebraska. They ran up the score on them and showed the Nation how good they really are. Being led by junior quarterback Justin Fields, they can be very dangerous. Justin is an incredible athlete and can really make spectacular plays. He has incredible wide receivers that can get to where they have to be to catch the ball and make Justin look even better. If for some reason Justin and the offense aren’t doing great, the defense can back them up. The Ohio State defense is insane with a crazy good defensive line, linebackers, and defensive backs. If they can stop the receivers for Penn State, then they could have a very good shot at winning this game.
Overall, this will most likely be a great game and a nail biter. The win could be up to the quarterbacks if both play to their potential and do what everyone knows they can do. Ohio ended up winning, 38-25.
