Terminator: Dark Fate is the last movie in the Terminator franchise and put a great ending to the series. Although this was the first movie I watched in the franchise, I was not left in the dark and learned all the previous events in the series. This movie was riveting and had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. It is about a Mexican girl named Dani Ramos who is being targeted by a seemingly indestructible robot that wants to kill her. She is guided along the way by a half-cyborg from the future and a woman named Sarah, who was from the previous movies. This movie deals with science fiction but represents it in a way that almost seems real. The in-depth portrayal of the past, present, and future had me fascinated. This movie tied the whole series together with the prediction of a future filled with robot vs. human warfare. The movie did not have any excessive gore or inappropriate behavior, but it did have swearing, blood, and strong themes. I am a little squeamish when it comes to those things, but this movie did not make me uncomfortable. The effects and sound was amazing, as was the CGI and portrayal of this movie’s antagonist. I definitely will have to go back and watch all of the previous movies.
