An Interesting Turn of Events as Wife Kills Husband, Who Was Once Her Stepfather

According to Fox News, Danielle Redlick, 45, was accused of killing Michael Redlick, 65, a man who had been her husband, as well as her stepfather. To cover up what she had done, Danielle put forth claims that Michael had stabbed himself, but through careful and thorough investigation, investigators encountered the truth.

Danielle had allegedly waited more than eleven hours to call 911 from their house in Central Florida. When investigators arrived at the scene, they had found “a pile of bloody towels, a bloody mop, bloody footprints and the strong smell of bleach in the house,” according to Fox News. In addition, investigators believe a violent fight had broken out between the two which led to Danielle stabbing Michael multiple times.

To analyze their peculiar relationship further, close family members told WFTV, “Michael Redlick fell in love with Danielle Redlick after her mother, Michael's second wife, died of cancer.” Close friends and family came to Michael’s defense stating how Danielle’s mother was terminally ill. Danielle Redlick claims Michael had found flirty texts on her phone from another man, which led to the violent outburst. According to the Orlando Sentinel, “Danielle Redlick said her husband was drunk, belligerent and following her around the house after discovering her texts with a man Jan. 10. She said she locked herself inside a bathroom but he broke down the door.”
