Halloween Activities in Bucks County

October has arrived, and that means it’s time for everyone to go completely Halloween crazy! Houses are going to be covered in cobwebs and skeletons, and there will be pumpkins all around. This year, Bucks County has many different attractions to get people in the Halloween spirit. Some of these different activities include haunted houses, mazes, and haunted hayrides.

At 7pm every weekend in October, Shady Brook Farm’s Horror Fest takes place. It is located at 931 Stony Hill Rd in Yardley. There are numerous attractions to choose from including: The Hayride of Horror, The Barn of Horror, The Alien 3D Encounter, and Carnage, which is a corn maze. Tickets range from 22 to 50 dollars, depending on how many activities you plan on doing. These ticket prices include access to the Festival Field with bonfires, Scare-ee-okee, and live music.


On Fridays through Sundays throughout all of October, Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres takes place. It is located at Sleepy Hollow, 881 Highland Rd. Newtown, PA 18940. Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres has many different activities to choose from such as The House of Hollow, Field of Fright, and the Sleepy Hollow Hayride. There are also bonfires, live music, and many different refreshments. If you are only interested in doing one of these activities it costs 16 dollars, but if you want to do all three of the activities it costs 33 dollars.

Every weekend in October as well as November 2nd the Valley of Fear and Haunted Hayride take place. It is located at 301 W. Bristol Rd. Feasterville, PA 19053. This fair has numerous different attractions including a haunted hayride, a haunted forest walk, a zombie maze, and a zombie escape room that has paintball. Admission prices vary, but the price to do all four activities is 47 dollars.

On Main Street and Ferry Street in New Hope, PA, the Ghost Tour of New Hope is in action. This tour happens on every Friday and Saturday night in October as well as Halloween night. On this tour you go on a lantern-led walk throughout New Hope hearing numerous different ghost stories. Tickets cost only 10 dollars and you do not need to make a reservation.


On the 26th through the 28th of October, Frankenstein Rocks takes place at Bucks County Community College in the Zlock Performing Arts Center. Frankenstein Rocks is a comedic rock musical which is a hilarious adaptation of Mary Shelley's Classic tale. Tickets cost 22 dollars and you can buy them in advance online so that you are able to reserve your seat.
