Hemsworth Brothers Help ‘Make it Rain’ at Australia’s Benefit Concert

Kirsten Serrone, Senior

Byron Bay, Australia, the Make It Rain benefit concert has had some major donations to help benefit the firefighters of Australia. The concert has also attracted many celebrities, and some of which are Australian: Chris and Liam Hemsworth have taken a visit to their homeland.

The two brothers obviously supported this beneficial concert for its fundraising, but they also have made gracious donations themselves. Chris has donated $1 million to aid bushfire relief, after the fires have destroyed land and taken lives, but he didn’t do it alone.

Chris took to his platform and asked them graciously for their help and support: “Hey there guys, as you’re well aware the bushfires in Australia have caused massive devastation. ‘They continue to burn, there’s warmer weather on its way, we’re really still in the thick of it here, and there are plenty of challenging times ahead still to come. So, what we need is your support and your donations. I’m going to put forward a million dollars and was hoping you can contribute in any shape of form. ‘That money goes directly to the firefighters, the people on the front lines, the people who have suffered, the communities that have taken a hit and who are in desperate need for our support. Thank you to everyone who’s sent all their well wishes and donations already. It’s greatly appreciated here in Australia.”📷

Both Liam and Chris have been very vocal about people donating and helping out if they can, they have created a lot of awareness along with many others, in hopes of it helping aid the firefighters, those on the front lines and support communities in need.
