"Game of Thrones" star has checked himself into rehab after he admitted to struggling with extreme stress and alcohol dependency. Harington plays one of the main characters on the show, reportedly making over $1,000,000 per episode. The last season of "Game of Thrones" debuted on April 14 and would run until May 19th. Before the finale of the show premiered, Harington checked into the luxury Connecticut health retreat Privé-Swiss. The retreat costs over $120,000 a month and helps its residents to deal with negative emotions and substance abuse. Friends of Harington reported that the end of "Game of Thrones" hit him extremely hard. He has been apart of the show since he was 24 back in 2011. Now 32, Harrington struggled with the ending of the project he had such a massive part in. Harington met his wife, Rose Leslie, while they worked together on the show in 2012. They had a romantic relationship on the show which turned into a real marriage six years after they met. Leslie has been extremely supportive of him as he goes through the rehabilitation process. A documentary about the production of the final season of "Game of Thrones" was released after the final episode of the show aired. In the documentary it is clear to see how much the show meant to Harington, with a particular scene of him breaking down in tears after an especially emotional part of the show. Harington has struggled with stress throughout the shows eight seasons, but has always been able to get through the rough times by turning to his close friends and therapists. Fans of the show have shown a massive amount of support for the actor as he undergoes this tough time. Harington's cousin suffers from a learning disability and fans of the show have raised over $47,000 in support of charities that support those with learning disabilities while the actor has been in rehab. Harrington will continue to stay at the retreat until his mental and physical condition has improved.
