According to BuzzFeed.com, after years of feuding, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift came to a truce. Their feud began way, way back in September 2014, when Taylor released her song “Bad Blood”. Taylor had said that the song had been inspired by an artist who she was not always sure if she was her real friend. Taylor had said the artist had tried to ruin her Red Tour, by trying to hire people that were working for Taylor. There have been many things to hint that the feud is over. For example, Taylor Swift posted a photo of her and her new cat, which Katy Perry liked on Twitter. After that, Taylor Swift updated her Apple Music Playlist, which is used to advance her new song “Me”, and she added Katy Perry’s new song. Taylor Swift’s description of the playlist is “Everything that happens to us is just part of a story we’ll tell someday. These songs are the soundtrack of my story at the moment”. Katy’s song “Never Really Over” is now number 13 on that playlist. They are now trying to have a collaboration on a new song or next album. Many of their fans have been freaking out and are in anticipation for the collaboration. Last year in May, Katy sent Taylor a kind hearted note attempting to end the feud for sure. After the last couple of weeks fans are sure that the feud is officially over. Maybe we will get a new single or album by Katy and Taylor soon!
