Dallas, Texas, a high school basketball game occurs on a Saturday night. Later on, gunfire breaks out which leaves an 18 year-old spectator in critical condition, and a police officer wounded. According to authorities, the shooter is unidentified, and on the run.

It was a game between South Oak Cliff and Kimball high schools during the third quarter when at least four gunshots rang out, prompting the players and spectators to run and take cover. The teen shot is believed to be a previous student at South Oak Cliff and he was hit in the chest by a bullet and left in serious condition.
