The government shutdown has been going on for a month now, and there have been dire consequences. Federal workers have been turning to food banks to feed themselves and their families because they cannot afford food. Food banks everywhere are trying to help and provide for them. Kraft has recently started a store in Washington D.C. for these workers and their families. If there is no compromise made between the President and Congress, these issues will continue to happen.
