From Sunday into Monday, the Taal volcano in the Philippines, located near the capital of Manila, has been spewing out hot lava and ash; this has caused the evacuation of thousands from the area. Due to the eruption, streets and towns across the Philippines are covered in a blanket of ash. According to CNN reports, approximately 30,000 people have fled their homes as a result of the danger posed by this volcanic activity. Several mind-blowing images of the event have been captured and posted on the internet, including an intense shot of a couple getting married with the exploding volcano behind them.

The eruption is continuous and still currently taking place, and despite Taal being a small volcano, it is one of the Philippines most active volcanoes and poses a threat to those living nearby. Fortunately there have been no casualties as a result of this eruption, but it continues to be a terrifying threat to the safety of thousands in the area. 📷📷
