Spirit Week 2019

Updated: Nov 21, 2019

Savana Asay, Freshman

The 2019 Homecoming Spirit Week was a big success. Every class did a great job of participating in the activities and showing their school spirit!

The senior class did not hold back when thinking of their costumes. All week they showed immense effort and school spirit. They also went home with the Powder Puff win Thursday night. “Class Color Day” was the most supported by the senior class of 2020. The seniors earned the most points for spirit week and won the competition.

The junior class also did a great job with their costumes. The most popular day for the junior class was “Purple and Gold Day,” showing they had lots of school spirit. Juniors also won their basketball games against the sophomore and seniors. Unfortunately, they did not manage to beat the teachers, but they came quite close.

The sophomores did an amazing job with dressing up and hyping their class up at the pep rally on Friday. They were very loud and full of cheer. The sophomores were the most involved with “USA Day,” showing their red, white, and blue pride.

Finally the freshmen showed their Palisades pride all week long. However, they did not make it very far on the homecoming leaderboard. The freshmen did a great job for their first high school spirit week and showed lots of spirit. Unfortunately, they lost their basketball game against the seniors, but there’s always next year! The freshmen put a lot of effort into their costumes and did a great job all week. “We Go Together Day” was a big hit for the class of 2023.

All four classes did an amazing job and represented our school with great pride. Thank you for a great 2019 Spirit Week!
